Privacy policy

If you contact a host — your name, email, message, and optionally a phone number and preferred move-in date. We need these to forward your enquiry.

If you list a place — the listing details plus your name, email and optionally a phone number, so we can review the listing and forward enquiries to you.

Analytics — anonymous, cookieless page statistics (which pages are visited, roughly from where). No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no cookie banner needed.

• To deliver enquiries to the host you contacted (and notify our team).
• To review listings before they are published, and to run the directory.
• To send transactional email — enquiry notifications and listing confirmations.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

• We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising.
• We never publish a property's exact address — listings show suburb-level location only.
• We never publish host contact details on the site; enquiries are forwarded by email.
• We never send marketing email — only the transactional messages described above.

The site runs on trusted infrastructure providers: our database and file storage (Supabase), hosting and anonymous analytics (Vercel) and transactional email (Resend). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
